CONFIGURATION OF ADOBE ACROBAT TO VALIDATE A DIGITAL SIGNATURE

Both the signer and the recipient of a digitally signed document need to configure Adobe Acrobat in order to use the digital signature verification features. These features allow the signer and recipient to validate a digital signature.

Two options are available to holders of a digital signature issued by the Quebec Certification Centre (QCC):

Holders who already have Adobe Reader installed on their workstation or in the case where holders do not possess any of the following Adobe applications, i.e. Reader, or Acrobat Standard or Pro, please install our version of Adobe Reader 9.3 that is configured to validate a digital signature issued by the QCC.

Holders who already have Adobe Acrobat Standard or Pro installed on their workstation, please refer to the following procedures:

Note: Versions 6 and 7 of Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat Standard and Pro are not compatible with ConsignO 3.1.
