REVOCATION OR SUSPENSION REQUEST

Revocation :

You requested the revocation of your digital signature because you want to stop using it.

Within three months after the date of revocation, you can make an application for re-issue of keys and certificates by completing the subscription form and paying the applicable fees ($50 plus tax). This will avoid your having to appear before an identity verification agent.

After three months, you have to make another application for issuance of keys and certificates by completing the subscription form and paying the applicable fees ($170 plus tax). You also have to appear once again before an identity verification agent.

Suspension :

You can ask that your digital signature be suspended if you do not plan to use it for a set period but still want to retain your certificates for future use. Non-reimbursable maintenance fees of $25 plus tax are charged, failing which your digital signature will be revoked.

To revoke or suspend your digital signature, you need to contact Notarius and pay the applicable penalty, i.e. six (6) months or 50% of the outstanding term, whichever is the lesser.
